How the trial works

You ask

Send an email saying who you are, roughly what your department looks like, and what you would want to try. A couple of sentences is plenty.

You get a reply, personally

Usually within a few days. It is one person answering, not a sales process — and if what you need is something this does not do, the honest answer is the useful one, so expect to be told.

You get a code

A short code, something like ROTA-7K2M, and a link. The code is the only way in. There is no password to choose and no account to set up, and the trial site cannot be reached without it.

You have a department to yourself for a week

We provide the invented names — the people, their job plans, and a rota already built from them, so there is something to work with from the first click. You cannot see any other department and nobody can see yours.

Ask, and the practice department can be built to mirror your own — your clinics, theatres and units, your session names, your grades — so you are looking at something shaped like the place you work rather than a generic one. Say so when you get in touch and it will be set up that way.

Or ask for it empty. If you would rather see how a department is set up from scratch, you can start with nothing at all and build your own places, sessions and grades. That is exactly how a real department begins, and the app walks you through the order to do it in.

It is deleted

After a week the department and everything in it is deleted — not just your access to it. There is a button inside marked I'm finished that does the same thing immediately, and you never have to ask anybody to remove anything.
